‘Tinubu May Have Suffered a Stroke’ — Sowore Questions President’s Health after Kaduna rally

Politics

Human rights activist and African Action Congress (AAC) chieftain Omoyele Sowore has raised fresh concerns about President Bola Tinubu’s health following his appearance at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna on Saturday.

In a post on his official social media account, Sowore questioned the transparency of Nigeria’s political leadership, alleging that the President appeared seriously unwell in a video from the rally.

He further claimed, without presenting publicly verified medical evidence, that Tinubu might have suffered a stroke and suggested that information about his health was being concealed from Nigerians.

“The Nigerian political class is of the worst variety when it comes to their ability to deceive themselves and Nigerians,” Sowore wrote, adding that the President’s appearance at the rally had heightened his concerns.

He also recalled Tinubu’s recent extended stay in France, which had previously prompted speculation about the President’s health.
“These politicians are sick! Sick people!” Sowore declared in his post, ending with the hashtag #TinubuMustGo.

However, Sowore’s suggestion that the President may have suffered a stroke remains unverified, and no medical evidence was presented in the post to establish the claim.
