Beneficiaries of Cash Gifts Praise Governor Oyebanji, Recount Experiences

The beneficiaries of the cash gifts recently donated to some petty traders have praised Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji for assisting them in their trades.

Recall that Governor Oyebanji extended support to petty traders to boost their businesses and improve the livelihoods of the most indigent in the state.

Some of the beneficiaries, who recounted their experiences during a ‘Thank You’ visit on Friday in Ado-Ekiti appreciated the governor for keeping their businesses afloat.

Expressing the significance of the kind gesture while addressing the beneficiaries, Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho stated that the gesture will go a long way to put smiles on the faces of the people and boost the state’s economy.

She noted that the glowing reactions and acceptance that greeted the governor’s kind gesture is a testament of his unwavering commitment to empower the people aimed at fulfilling his six-point agenda.

The beneficiaries unanimously declared their support for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji noting his achievements so far in office has endeared him to the people.

In their words, “A politician and Governor like BAO has never existed in the history of Ekiti State. He is a leader who truly sees and values the common man, listens to the unheard, and delivers on his promises without bias.”

In an interview, one of the beneficiaries and resident of Ilawe-Ekiti, Adebayo Oluwagbenga commended the governor for his impactful leadership in Ilawe-Ekiti, particularly in roads construction, youths empowerment, among others.

According to him, “I am glad to be a beneficiary because our governor is a great man and he is a governor for everybody. In fact, he is the one that gave me the hope of living and that is why I certified myself for him. As a group, we are committed to support him to be re-elected.”
