ADO EKITI – As the month of February approaches, residents of Ado Ekiti and the surrounding environs are preparing for a significant spiritual landmark. The Grace of God Anglican Church, popularly known as “Possibility Ground,” has officially announced the commencement of its Annual February Fasting & Prayer program.
The month-long event, scheduled to run from February 1st to February 28th, is themed “Joy Cometh In The Morning” (Ayo Nbo Ni Owuro), a reference to the biblical promise found in Psalms 30:5.

A Season of Transformation
The program is designed to be a period of intensive spiritual seeking, aimed at providing hope and renewal for participants. According to organizers, the event serves as a platform for individuals to lay down their burdens and seek divine intervention through fasting and intercessory prayers.
The visual identity of this year’s program—featuring a man in a posture of deep humility and prayer—underscores the church’s call for a “sincere heart-cry” to usher in a new season of joy for the community.

Event Logistics and Participation
The program will be held daily at the Church Auditorium located in Irewumi, opposite Bawa Estate, Ado Ekiti. Unlike many morning-focused prayer programs, this event is scheduled for 6:00 PM daily, allowing workers, business owners, and students to participate at the close of their day.
”The goal is accessibility,” a representative of the church noted. “We want everyone in the city to have the opportunity to end their day in the presence of God, standing on the promise that no matter how dark the night has been, joy is coming.”

Digital Outreach
In a bid to reach a global audience and those unable to attend in person, the church has confirmed that the program will be shared via their digital platforms. Updates and live sessions are expected to be available on the “Possibility Ground” Facebook and YouTube channels.
As the city prepares for the start of the program this Sunday, there is a palpable sense of expectation for what many describe as a “season of breakthroughs.”
