President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after performing the lesser Hajj, known as Umrah, and receiving the rare privilege of entering the Holy Kaaba in Mecca to offer prayers.
The President disclosed this in a statement following the visit, expressing gratitude to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for granting him and members of his delegation the privilege and extending hospitality to them.
Tinubu described the experience as a special moment of faith and friendship, noting that it reflected the longstanding relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
He said he used the opportunity to pray for peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria, as well as the well-being of all Nigerians.
The President also expressed appreciation to the Saudi leadership for the warm reception accorded him and his delegation during the visit.
