A video circulating on social media has sparked reactions after showing a young apprentice, popularly known as a nwa boi, sitting on the floor of a living room and sorting through a large pile of dusty, crumpled Nigerian naira notes.
According to claims accompanying the footage, the apprentice allegedly took money from his master’s business over an extended period, concealed the cash in black nylon bags and hid them above the ceiling.
The claims further suggest that the money was eventually discovered and brought down, with the total reportedly amounting to approximately ₦8 million. However, the amount and circumstances surrounding the alleged discovery have not been independently verified.

In the video, the young man can be seen handling and sorting the worn-out banknotes, which appear to have been stored away for a considerable period. The footage has drawn attention to the allegations, although it does not, on its own, establish how the money was obtained or who owned it.
As the video continues to circulate, important questions remain unanswered, including where the incident occurred, whether a formal complaint was made and whether the apprentice or his alleged master has offered an account of what happened. Until further details emerge from credible sources, the claims surrounding the alleged ₦8 million stash remain unverified.
